London’s best breakfast & brunch spots | fab places around the city

Those who have been to London in the past 5 years know that this city offers a ton of trendy places. Mix that with the most snazzy meal of the day and you have the content of this post. Here, I will share with you the most trendy places in London where you will eat delicious food. I could include more breakfast/brunch spots since London is filled with great eating opportunities, but I decided to keep my post concise and only include the ones that are 100% worth visiting and will leave you filled with warmth, joy, and of course delicious pastries.

Farm Girl

The trendy interior is not the only reason why this is on the list, their food and coffee are to die for! Three years ago the founders of Farm Girl felt that London was missing something that closes the bridge between specialty coffee and restaurants. That is how Farm Girl began taking over the London breakfast & brunch scene. Now, there are five locations of Farm Girl in London. At Farm Girl, as they say, they value fresh, nutritious and honest food that never comprises taste. Do you want an Instagram worthy picture that will make your followers jealous? Order the Rose Latte. It’s their specialty coffee and it is gorgeous.

Prufrock coffee

If you crave good coffee in the morning, go here. Seriously. They have the best coffee in London. This cafe is run by the Prufrock Barista Training Center, where the cafe’s director is a world barista champion. Needless to say that the knowledge and expertise of the baristas here are on another, higher, level. Oh, and they don’t only serve coffee here. Their food and hot chocolate are extremely good too.

26 Grains

It’s not hard to guess what you will eat here. For breakfast, you have the choice between various, healthy kinds of porridge or toast. The lunch menu offers healthy and fresh options that can change with the season. Apart from the food, this place should be on your list because of the location. It is one of the few restaurants that are lucky enough to have secured their spot in the desired Neal’s Yard, without a doubt the coziest square in London.

Darwin Brasserie @ Sky Garden

If you have already looked up views not to miss in London, you have probably stumbled upon the Sky Garden at some point. The name of this place reveals exactly what it is. It has amazing views, with the result of attracting many tourists so there can be long waiting lines to get in. But don’t you worry! There is a little hack to get in and have the place almost to yourself. Just make a reservation at their brasserie for breakfast (no later than 9:00) and enjoy the magnificent view while you sip your coffee.

Pain Quotidien @ Covent Garden

The Pain Quotidien is located all over Europe so its concept is nothing new, but the one in Covent Garden is special. The interior is the same as all in the other locations, but the food is way better here. Really, if you are staying near Covent Garden you must give this a try.
P.S.: their gluten-free bread is delicious, which is a rare find, trust me.

This is possibly the most beautiful restaurant in all of London. This renovated mansion has 5 rooms, each for different purposes. There is The Glade which is for breakfast, lunch, and cocktails. At The Gallery, you can come for afternoon tea and dinner. The Parlour is open all day and The East Bar & Pods is a cocktail bar. The Lecture Room & Library is a two-Michelin-starred restaurant and where they have 200 original prints and drawings by Turner Prize-winning David Shrigley hanging on the wall.

Pro tip: have a tea at the bar in the afternoon so you don’t have to break the bank, but can still walk through the most beautiful rooms while going to the bathroom. The famous pink restaurant is closed in the morning.
